How to Prepare for a Job Interview?

Finally, you are invited to your desired job interview at your dream company. Especially as a beginner, there must be thousands of possible questions in your head. How to prepare for a job interview?

In this article, we’d like to give you some tips and tricks for your preparation. The more you prepare yourself, the more relaxed you are while talking. Of course, we are speaking from a TEXSIB perspective. Keep in mind that other companies might prioritize other aspects.

Inform Yourself about The Company on the Internet

At TEXSIB, nobody is going to ask you about our company history. No worries. It’s important, though, to inform yourself in detail online.

What Are YOUR Questions?

Think about the questions that are important to you, before the job interview, to complete your picture of the company. Maybe you’d like to address something that you saw online. In most cases, these are questions about money, holiday, work time and tasks.

Of course, that leaves an impression on the company’s representatives that participate in the interview. It shows that you are genuinely interested in the company.

The main issue of a job interview is getting known to each other. That’s why you will be asked some questions. Prepare yourself for the most common.

Plan Your Journey

Use Google Maps to check out your driving time and route upfront. Plan your journey including a small buffer time, just in case of an accident or an unknown site. You live almost next door? Then feel free to pass by the company some time before your interview. And if you travel by train, plan with a buffer for your return, too, so that there is no pressure to catch a train during your conversation.

Clothes Make The Man

Five minutes left, and you don’t know what to wear? That’s unnecessary stress, right? Take your time, prepare your outfit the evening before, and take inspiration from the company’s online presence.

At TEXSIB, you can’t do anything wrong, if you decide on a shirt/blouse and neat jeans, for example. Other companies might expect a suit.

Keep A Positive Mindset

Your mood and mindset is the key! We know how exciting a new situation can be. Think about what you look forward to about the interview beforehand, and what you’d like to be the result. Be yourself and don’t let anyone unsettle you.
